Finding Oklahoma ATV Trails
With its red dirt and many undeveloped areas, Oklahoma is a great place to be an ATV owner.
Broken Bow Located in SE Oklahoma on private land owned by Weyerhauser Timber Company features over 450,000 acres of many types of terrain for your ATV riding enjoyment. Everything from flat lands, to steep inclines to wooded areas are available for riding. This is a great place for beginning ATV riders to hone their technical and control skills. You must have a permit to ride, and for your convenience the trails are numbered and maps available for purchase where permits are sold. There is no designated trail head on these ATV trails.
Crossbar Ranch bills itself as the newest and largest off-road riding experience in the West. Located in the Arbuckel Mountains area in Ardmore, this great place offers not only some really fun trails to explore on your ATV but picnic and camping areas as well.
The Pear Orchard Motorcycle Use Area is on the northwest side of scenic Lake Murray. The trails around the lake are marked and easy for beginners to follow. The trails pass through grasslands, forest areas and will take your ATV through over 1,000 acres of rolling hills.
Little Sahara State Park is located in NW Oklahoma, just south of Waynoka. Now, this is a fun place to ride your ATV. There are over 1600 acres of sand dunes waiting for you and your ATV to conquer them. There are all the conveniences of home like electricity and full bathroom facilities including showers, so stay and while and conquer all the dunes.
