Arctic Cat 2007 model- ATV review

We know it’s a little late to do a review on 2007 Arctic Cat since we’re a little more than halfway through with the year. In a couple of months, another new model may be out and this model of Arctic Cat would be, like they say, history. But we recently got the chance to ride this ATV and felt that we had to say something about it.

And here we are….saying it.

On the surface, there isn’t much difference between the 2006 Arctic Cat and the 2007 Arctic Cat, but the changes become a little bit clearer when you swing a leg over this ATV. The handle bars to 2007 Arctic Cat felt different, the side panels and the tires are different. When we took at look at the catalogue, we realized that they had more color options for 2007 Arctic Cat than the 2006 Arctic Cat. We loved the brand new side panels to the newer Arctic Cat because they proved more efficient in keeping noise level low and preventing heat from pummeling your legs when you ride the ATV. The heat can get through even the best of ATV apparel, so, the fact that the side panels kept the heat at bay was an appreciated feature.

Although we liked the tires they used on the 2006 Arctic Cat, the Goodyear tires that they used on the new model is a good idea, we have to admit. We don’t doubt the fact that Goodyear tires are going to be more durable in the long run and that the grip allows us to ride the ATV on many different types of terrain without a change of tires. All in all, the new Arctic Cat is doubtlessly a masculine machine! Once strapped in, you’ll feel like this ATV can take a lot of beating. I guess the personality part of the new Arctic Cat came from the many improvements that they’ve made to it. And it gives out a low rumble that sounds absolutely like a roar in ATV terms.

What we also liked about the Arctic Cat is that the seating on this Arctic Cat is higher than most of the previous models. There’s the advantage of about 12 inches ground clearance. The suspension of this new Arctic Cat is also impressive. We felt it was easier to maneuver around small objects on this ATV.

The 2007 model of Arctic Cat is lighter than what we would expect when we looked at it but it is still a heavy machine. But it makes the 2007 Arctic Cat feel a lot studier….an illusion, you might say, but we appreciated the sturdier feel. There’s no need to worry about loading stuff onto the ATV too because the front can carry up to 100lbs. while the back can carry right up to double of that. In fact, 2007 Arctic Cat can tow up a machine about 1,050 pounds.

All in all, we believe that the Arctic Cat’s new model is a man-made monster machine made for real men. Not only does it feel like a monster, it rides like a heavy-duty ATV that it is said to be. Riding this ATV, you can actually feel the power in every move and maneuver you make. We conclude that Arctic Cat 2007 is a really good buy.
