These Aren\'t Tricks?
These seem like ATV maintenance or ATV mods, but not ATV tricks...I agree that atv fans love to have bedding for their bedrooms. Do you know where I can find four wheeler full comforters or curtains?

ATV tricks - How to pivot your ATV around
Ever wonder how some people make taking jumps and getting over difficult obstacles look so easy that you want to try it out yourself? And then there are other ATV riders make the very same jump or obstacle look totally befuddling. So, if there’s a trick, what is it? Taking jumps and getting through obstacles on an ATV is not as difficult as it may seem. All it takes is a little practice and also initiative in learning how to handle your ATV properly when maneuvering around the jumps and obstacles. The more stable your ATV, the better equipped you would be in taking on these stunts but that’s only half the story told.
You see, experience, knowledge and familiarity is part of the game as well. Don’t try any tricks on your new ATV – spend some time getting to know the quad and how it responds to each and every one of your actions because it is important. Get the experience. Feel the life in your ATV and become one with the machine. The more you ride the quad, the more familiar you will be with your ATV, hence, you’ll have a stronger foundation when learning new techniques on how to perform pivots, jumps and such. There’s no shortcut for this one, sorry.
If you’ve never attempted to make jumps or climb over ATV trail obstacles before, you don’t know what you’re missing! Having to overcome these obstacles make ATV riding a lot more fun (and faster), trust us on this. And we’re going to start with how to use a pivot turn when taking sharp corners.
Pivots are great when you’re taking a devil of a curve; sharp corners are easier for lighter and smaller ATVs. The bigger the quad, the harder it would be to beat that corner. Powerful quads, on the other hand, are fabulous when climbing over obstacles.
Pivoting on your ATV
This is not a necessary trick to learn but it helps you take a corner without losing too much time and speed. And besides, it’s just more fun this way….although we can’t say the same for those riding behind you, so, make sure no one is behind you when you make a pivot turn on your ATV. To do this is extremely simple. However, if not done correctly, you’ll end up facing the wrong direction or lose control of your quad. But it doesn’t take a Pro to do this. When you are taking a corner, you’ll reach a point that you’ll have to turn into order remain on track, here’s what you’ll do.
Press on the brakes and the accelerator at the same time! You back tire will go spinning while the brakes will stop the front one. Your back tire will spin the back of the ATV around a little. Make sure it’s spinning in the direction that you want it to and when you’re facing the right direction, release the brakes while you continue to press on the accelerator.
When done properly, your ATV will roar on in the right direction leaving a smoke of dust behind. But if you don’t do it properly and carefully, you might fishtail your quad. And if that happens, adjust your steering a little bit until the front tires get proper gripping to move on. If need be, release the throttle just a little bit.
As difficult as it sounds, intermediate level ATV riders can start practicing this. You might be asking why we would need to use this maneuver. Basically, this technique is often used when one needs to take a corner on an ATV trail or track without having to slow down too much.
When you take on a sharp corner the conventional way, you’ll have to slow the ATV down quite a bit before turning the corner. When you pivot the ATV around like that, you’ll turn your quad around without losing much speed.
Usually, the more powerful the quad, the easier it would be to do this. Other good traits to have are lightness, low center of gravity and good ole dependable suspension. We do not encourage kids or youths to try this ATV trick out themselves without proper adult supervision of training. But for the big boys, we say GO FOR IT!
