These Aren\'t Tricks?
These seem like ATV maintenance or ATV mods, but not ATV tricks...I agree that atv fans love to have bedding for their bedrooms. Do you know where I can find four wheeler full comforters or curtains?

Do you have to change your ATV every time a new one is launched?

Do you have to change your ATV every time a new one is launched?
I was going through and putting together all the ATV, four-wheeling and dirt-biking magazines we have piled up a couple of days ago and inevitably, we ended up looking through some of them to see if we missed anything out before putting it in our archive. As I looked through the ATV magazines, something occurred to me….there are many, too many, new model of quads coming out each year. The big guys don’t go slow as far as new models are concerned. Each year, the newer ones are bigger, better, faster, meaner and more packed with features.
To be honest with you, I’ve not changed my ATV for the past 6 years…and counting. I’ve fallen absolutely in love with my ATV and it would take a lot….and I DO mean a lot for me to throw it away for something else. The thing is that you don’t have to change your ATV just because something better is out there in the market. All you have to do is to beef it up a little every time you feel someone’s got a bigger ATV and is boasting his head off about it in front of you! Well, that’s what I do and it’s been working so far.
A quad can be KING of the world for a couple of months when it’s launched but by next year, it’s going to slip down the charts too….so, I don’t really see a point. I make it a point to check out the new features in the new ATV models launched every year, scour through the Internet for Chinese ATV parts that fit my quad and then viola! Some people chastise me about using Chinese ATV parts but my Kazuma parts have been doing me good so far. I’ve got no complaints about using Kazuma parts, really. You see, the support I get is great, the parts lasts just as long as any other brand of ATV parts and my quad performance is on par with most of the big quads that my friends are riding. and they pay through their noses in interest rates raked up with the credit cards every month – to me, why bother? I’ve grown so accustomed and comfortable with my old buddy that there really isn’t a mud puddle I can splash through and a hill I can’t climb with it.
If you’ve been riding ATV trails, you’ll know that a change of ATV tires is necessary to suit the terrain you’re riding, so, this is one of the modifications that I usually make. You’ll need mud tires for muddy terrains as they dig deeper and have a wider surface which makes going through muddy terrain a breeze. When riding sandy ATV trails, you’ll need tires that grips and grabs sand along the way.
I also adjusted the airflow of my ATV because I wanted to squeeze as much horsepower out of that baby as possible. I learned all this from my brother who is into ‘behind-the-hood’ stuff. Says he, when you adjust the air flow of the ATV, you’re forcing more oxygen into the combustion chamber. Sounds cool to me, I thought, as I envisioned oxygen being forced into my lungs.
I change the exhaust to my ATV quite often too because there are always new ones being launched and these Chinese ATV parts all incredibly cheap too! This is the only time when I associate ‘shopping’ with ‘fun’. I mean, you can beat the price of a Chinese ATV exhaust these days…and the quality is good. So, sure beats the hell out of trading in my old ATV for something new.
And because me and my friends take to the ATV trails quite often, I found putting on a snorkel kit and exhaust extension very useful. You’ll never know when you’ll have to take your ATV swimming for a bit, I always say. When you cross a stream, there’s a risk that water will get into the engine of the ATV and water in the engine is always bad news. So’s mud, by the way. A snorkel kit for my ATV saved the ATV quite a number of times as it is.
These are just the FEW things that I’ve done to my ATV…it’s not possible to list down all the changes I’ve made to my ATV. But until the time when my ATV bid me adieu for good, I think I’ll stick to this one even though many new ones are launched every year.
