Electric-powered ATVs useful as a parenting tool

Written by Raceway ATV - the #1 kids Kazuma ATV dealer
Electric-powered ATVs useful as a parenting tool Updated: Thursday, 06 September 2007

Many parents who are into ATVs decides to wait till their kids grow older, bigger, more mature and in better control of their motor skills before they let their kids try riding an ATV. Good idea and we agree wholeheartedly with them on this one. There is absolutely no compromise on the safety of kids when it comes to ATV riding for kids. But here’s the thing…why wait when you give your kids a head start with a toy-like ATV that runs on battery and comes with as many safety features and gadgets that the human mind can think of? It’s totally and completely safe…in fact, we’ve heard some kids the age of 4 or 5 complain that Electric ATV like Peg Peregos aren’t fast enough for them. They want to ride monster bikes like mommy and daddy! Well, this is the good thing about Peg Perego Electric-powered ATVs for kids.

There are many benefits to purchasing a Peg Perego Electric ATV for your kids and we’ll list some of them here.

Control – Kids feel like they are in control (although they’re not completely in control) when they have an electric-powered ATV of their own.
What better way to help kids build their self-confidence than give them power over a machine like an Electric-powered ATV like a Peg Perego? To a child, there’s nothing like being the master of one’s own vehicle! Remember the sense of pride you felt when you got your first car? First motorbike? Heck, first scooter? Yes, this is the kind of pride you want them to feel.

Electric-Powered ATV helps build discipline
Kids don’t know that they have to be disciplined whenever they ride their ATVs and they have to abide by your rules in order to continue riding the kid ATVs. They will learn that in order to ride their ATVs, there are rules and that if they bend or break those rules; there are consequences they have to bear. Kids will push those limits and they will eventually break a few here and there – they’re kids, after all. But when you stand your ground and punish them (reasonably) for breaking those rules pertaining to their Peg Perego electric-powered kids ATVs, they’ll learn that for every action that they take, every decision that they make…there are consequences.

Electric ATVs need to be recharged and maintained: Sense of Responsibility
When your kids own their own kids ATV, the first thing you need to let them in on is that they have to be responsible for it. They might be too young to do everything on their own and on time – and we shouldn’t expect the impossible from these kids. But they have to understand the basic concept of being responsible. It’s just like teaching kids about having pets. Show them that they have to clean their Peg Perego kids’ ATVs and that in order for it to work, the batteries need to be charged…etc. Very important life lessons can be learned from having their own kids ATVs.

Electric ATVs can get kids going in the ‘chores’ department
Say the word chore and watch every kid in the room run for cover! Whilst this is true, we’ve seen many kids with their own kids ATV take initiative at cleaning up the yard and garden on their Peg Peregos. Another lesson learnt…chore is not a scary word and cleaning up the garden on a Kids ATV can be fun. How magical!
