Premis Industries Releases Carpe Diem 4 After Inaugural Win For Beating The Odds

Written by Raceway ATV - the #1 kids Kazuma ATV dealer
Premis Industries Releases Carpe Diem 4 After Inaugural Win For Beating The Odds Updated: Sunday, 10 February 2008

Premis Industries got it all down pat this year, 2007, when they walked away with the 2007 Extremey Awards this year with a trophy for the Best Profile Video of the Year for their documentary on ATVing called ‘Beating the Odds’. Those in doubt of their superb capability at spinning a video together should take a look at it and tell me it isn’t a good one. Four other videos in contention for the award were pretty good as well but let’s just say that Premis Industries got it because it was honest-to-goodness honest. You cut you no slack and have it to you the way it should be! Brad Phillips, the owner of Premis said that they were ‘extremely pleased’ with the award they were given partly because this was their first time in coming up with a documentary.

I suppose that is true since a lot of people are fond of whipping our their video cameras and record themselves doing stunts and then uploading it into youtube. Some people might even go as far as to edit everything, add music to it, try to record a so-called interview and pass it off as a motocross or ATV video. Well, although the video might have been intended to be as such in the beginning, they really pulled it together right this time. In fact, if you dig the dirt, you will see that this is the first time anyone actually went out of their way to make a documentary on ATVing.

And what do these folks have for us this time round after their inaugural win?

An addition to their Carpe Diem series. Having released the previous well-received three, and fueled by their recent win, they claim that they have new cameras to tinkle with, and filmed at new locations performing new stupid stunts and using new ATV riders too. Touted to be one of those ATV videos made that others released in 2008 will be compared to, I guess it’s worth a shot. The Carpe Diem 4 ATV video was released November 15th this year and so far, many people have good things to say about it. With their Micro 35mm cameras, they ride with professional riders from all over the country, racing and doing crazy stunts, Premis Industries, delivers yet another winner this time round. Apparently, in Carpe Diem 4, Premis Industries covers races at the WPSA/ESPN2 racing series and they also caught a lot on the Supermoto races as well. On top of that, you can catch some of the crazy guys behind the camera doing some of the stupidest and brain-breaking stunts you have ever seen. Recordings made during private (and shouldn’t be released) sessions with some of the most renowned names in the ATV racing industries will make you bulk too.

The folks behind Carpe Diem 4 are people like Kory Ellis, Chad Wienen, Brock Lyons, Darrel Patton, Cody Miller, Hunter Miller, Jake Hakala, Greg Gee, Mitch Reynolds and many more. If you’re wondering if the worth the $29.95 it’s going for in their website, watch this trailer and see for yourself. The Windows Media version is here, while the Quicktime one is here . If you have seen how crazy these folks are and are convinced that they’re the best in the industry, then don’t wait….get your hands on this video by logging into their website.

If you ask me if I have qualms about watching and purchasing this ATV video, my take is that I don’t usually doubt the experts. If the ATVriders and ATVscene people say the video rocks, I’ll take it as it is.

In the meantime, let me watch the trailer myself.
