You don�t know what you�re talking about if you think ATV riding is boring!

Some people think of ATV riding as boring….can you actually believe that? I mean, there’s nothing in this world more fun, for me, than ATV riding. It’s one of the most diverse activities in the Universe! But with that said, it’s just me, I think. I’ve been riding ATV for eons now and it never ceases to be fun, to be honest with you. think about it, there are so many things you can do while ATV riding. And here, I’ve outlined some of the things that I love doing when riding my ATV. Add some of your own if you want to….just so I can add it to my list too!

Fishing – This is something that I used to do with my dad. It used to be just fishing with me and my brother but when I was eight, both of us got our ATVs and we finally got to ride ATV with my dad. And we graduated to riding ATV and fishing…not at the same time but we’d ride out in the jungle near our place and then stop for a short while to eat and then fish our brains out under the hot sun. Nature’s cruel, I tell you but we’d be beaming with pride, holding up our ‘rewards’ for our mother to cook for us!

Hunting – Although I love fishing, hunting was never in my blood. It was one of those things I didn’t like because it involved ‘murdering’ animals until my brother convinced me that my mother cooked dead animals that someone else murdered anyway! Hhhmmm….and there’s nothing wrong with murdering your own dinner, I suppose. But yeah, now, I enjoy hunting and riding ATV with my friends as well.

Snowmobile riding – The first time I took on a snowmobile, I almost killed myself. I did pummel my way past a couple of trees. Snowmobiling is tricky stuff, man! But after a while, I got the hang of it and started riding snowmobiles with desperate ATV enthusiasts who couldn’t wait for spring to roll around.

Racing – The sheer adrenaline rush of ATV racing amongst friends is almost indescribable! Sure, we get a kick out of watching ATV races on TV and we would slap each other silly when one person supports another rider but there’s nothing like swinging your leg over a mean machine and then having it all out among your friends. You should always do this in a proper ATV track, I should remind you.

Hide and Seek – I know….you’re going ‘WWWAAHHHHHTTTT??” But I’m talking about playing hide and seek with your kids anywhere in the wild. They’re not big enough for racing, bear in mind, so, sometimes to satisfy the needs of these young tykes, you’ll have to bring yourself down to their levels. And don’t think for a minute there it’s easy. It’s easier, remember, to hide a Peg Perego than a Can-Am ATV!

Camping – Living in a concrete jungle, sometimes we need to take ourselves away from it all. And I do this by taking the ATV out to the wild with my friends and family and just camp. For a couple of nights, we’re not surrounded by televisions, computers, buildings, apartment blocks, cars and motorcycles. Oh yeah, there’s the ATV and cell phone but usually, when we’re out camping, we reduce the number of electrical appliances that we bring. Really fun, I promise you this.
