If you haven't tried out the Outernet tool at the Coleman's site, detailed outdoor travel and a way to plan your activities is not further away than a mouse click. The Outernet is divided into five main sections that together build a great planning experience for your next ATV ride.
The first section is Find Places where you can search for places around your home town or at a destination to ride your ATV. Detailed information is given and more information is added frequently, making this updated database a great source of "where to ride" information.
The second section helps you find campsites that allow you to make reservations online and gives you an overview of them so if you are making an excursion on your ATV, you will already know where you can park your ATV and camp out for the night.
Third is Road Trip. Which is invaluable if you are planning a tour of another city and you aren't sure where the best ATV trails are, simply got to the Road Trip section of the Outernet and put in your destination address and choices of where to ride your ATV will appear in the search results.
Fourth is a personalized section for your own personal information called "My Trips". This section stores previous and planned ATV rides and can hold a ton of information.
Fifth is the "My Trailhead" section and it holds information on where to ride your ATV in your neck of the woods. There is also a great section for outdoor events and you can even list your various certifications so you have them all in one place.
This is a great tool and best of all it is free to join!
