This Moose trail is located in the Land O' Lakes State Forest in Cass County. If you are coming from Outing, go 7 miles heading north on Highway 6, go 3/4 of a mile on Ben Draper Forest Rd and you are there. It is about 25 miles in length, and is open from all year, unless otherwise posted. This ATV trail is for all levels of ATVer.
Since this ATV trail is in a State Forest, it is essential you stay on the marked trails that are marked for ATV use. You don't want to be the one to destroy the vegetation of the forest. Keep it nice for all to enjoy.
These ATV trails are very narrow, never ride side by side or have another person riding on an ATV vehicle with you. Watch your speed especially around turns. You are not the only one out there having a good time. Any ATVer knows that protecting your body is one of the most important things you can do, make sure to wear your DOT approved helmet at all times when riding your ATV on these trails. Debris can get kicked up and a flying rock or wood chip in your eye is no fun and can ruin a great day of ATVing with your friends. Be sure and wear your goggles at all times when you're ATVing.
Keep your ATV machine in top running order. This is very important for your safety as well as others. You need good brakes, clean oil and great tires. Do this before every run and there should be no problems with your ATV.
Take a cell phone with you in case of an emergency and your time on the ATV trails will be awesome indeed. Being prepared prepares you and your friends for a great time ATVing at Moose River ATV trails.
