ATV Association of Massachusetts

The New England ATV Association (NEATVA)is a club of off road enthusiasts who realize the need to promote ATVing to future generations in order to keep the sport alive. Environmental concerns have prompted the closures of a number of park trails that were once open to ATVing.

NEATVA wants to show the world that ATV enthusiasts care about the impact they have on the lands they ride, and follow the standards of conduct put forth by Treadlightly.org. The club is also a member of the Berkshire Trails Council, and as such, participates in maintaining and cleaning trails in the region.

The club accepts members age 16 and older, but requires adult supervision for members under 18 years old. NEATVA offers trail riding, camping trips and summer ATV outings as well, and the club asks it's members to give at least one day a year to help clean and restore the ATV trails.

The club website maintains a page with a listing of some of their favorite places to go ATVing. October Mountain State Forest offers over 30 miles of ATV woodland trails along the old logging roads. Georgetown-Rowley State Forest has currently opened up 5 miles of ATV trails and abandoned road in a peaceful forest setting. These are just a few of the many trails you can experience if you join the club.

Happy trails!
