This ATV club nestled in the middle of Hawaii, or Heaven as we like to call it, provides ATV enthusiasts with a riding experience you just can't get anywhere else.
ATV Riders of Hawaii was formed in 2001, with the goal of actively pursuing legal riding areas on the big island for the enjoyment of all ATV enthusiasts. This club believes that it is crucial for the sport to present ATVers in the best possible light. They achieve this by promoting responsible ATV riding, and following safety rules and environmental guidelines like those typically found at Treadlightly.org.
By abolishing the negative preconception of ATVers as irresponsible hot dogs who wreck the natural flora and fauna, and putting the sport in a positive light, this club hopes to expand the ATV hobby as a family sport.
The ATV riders of Hawaii currently get together about every six weeks, and member ship is open to families and singles. Yearly dues range from $10-$15.
