This helmet is awesomely designed to be lightweight with its ABS/Polycarbonate alloy shell that won't cause rider fatigue, the number one cause of injury and it has a fully padded chin bar. The vented adjustable visor reduces annoying helmet lift that happens when riding.
It also comes with removable, washable cheek pads. There are also optional sized cheek pads that offer up custom fit for this helmet. The rubber google grabbers on each side of the eye port of the Thor Youth Full Roost helmet give good grab for the goggles and keep them in place, allowing better vision when riding, including periphreal vision.
Not only is this helmet lightweight, it is comfortable with a padded chin strap, the brushed nylon interior, and the D-ring retainer strap keeps your helmet exactly how the rider prefers to wear it on their head. This helmet also comes with the DOT certification as with all Thor helmets so you can know you're buying a cool looking helmet that is also very safe.
