The Coal Creek ATV Area is located just 15 miles west of Knoxville in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. The trail spans over 72,000 acres of lush land that is simply a dream come true for the ATV enthusiast. Though the land is owned by the Coal Creek Mining and Manufacturing Company, the area is maintained operated by the Windrock ATV club. The area is open 24 hours, every day of the year. In order to use the Coal Creek ATV Area you will need to obtain a Land Permit, but getting one is a very easy and inexpensive process. And once you are on the ATV trail that the area offers, you will certainly agree that it was money well spent.
While the trail is certainly not very challenging, it is still a fun ride with a very scenic view.The Coal Creek ATV Area boasts a very striking array of hills, creeks, vistas and mud pits that are as beautiful as they are memorable. The area is perfect for beginning ATV riders, and for those who enjoy getting a good view of mother nature. While you ride your ATV along the trail, remember to follow all of the proper safety precautions.
