Commonly referred to as "The first state" due to the fact that it was the first of the original 13 states of the U.S., Delaware is a small and peaceful state that is ripe with diversity and great ATV opportunities. Though Delaware ranks 49th in size, making it the second smallest state in the country, what it lacks in size it makes up for in variety and overall beauty. Another advantage to how small Delaware is that the towns are very friendly and the ATV trails are much less likely to be packed with people, so if you prefer a nice solitary ride, Delaware is the place to go.
Delaware has many excellent ATV trails, and it is honestly one of the most beautiful places in the whole United States, with its great coastal views and large variety of forests and large hilly areas. ATV enthusiasts of all breeds are sure to enjoy the scenery that Delaware has to offer, not to mention the superb ATV trails and riding areas.
Like the majority of states, Delaware has certain rules and regulations that you have to follow in order to ride your ATV in the state. You must wear a proper ATV safety helmet while riding the state and your ATV must be registered with the state's Motor Vehicle Registration Agency, which requires that you pay a small fee. The minimum age that is allowed to ride an ATV in Delaware is 12, and the child must be supervised at all times.
