Known mostly for the city that bears it's name, New York is home to much more than just the Big Apple. The minimum ATV riding age in New York is 16, but only if the rider has earned a safety certificate. A parent or guardian must supervise children of all other age groups, and it is highly recommended in the state that you do not let children who are under the age of 10 ride ATVs. Children 10- 15 also need a safety certificate to ride their ATVs in New York as well.
