Georgia is a rider's heaven with the many different kinds of areas to ride you can find in one state. There are rocky mountainous areas, flat sandy beaches, pine forests with thick, lush foliage and a lot of short, gravely trails.
If you're looking for a new area to make a day ride with your family or friends, make The Trails at the Beach in Clayton County your next destination. This is just an 8-mile track of trails that are very well maintained and the trails are well marked. The rating of these trails is beginner to intermediate.
Tibbs U. S. Forest ATV Trail is less than 4 miles in length but is a great ride for ATVer and motorcycle riders of every skill level. This trail is a multi-use trail and you will be sharing the narrow trails with other traffic such as mountain bicycles, horseback riders and other motorcycles and ATV riders.
Another fun destination to make for a short day ride is Mill Park in Lawrenceville. You will find over 10 miles of narrow one-way trails with very few loop backs. This is a very scenic and heavily foliaged area to ride in.
Another multi-use trail that gets a lot of traffic because of the easy access and beginner level trails is at the Turner Creek U. S. Forest Multi-User Trail. The trail system is very busy and only about 5 miles in length. There are few challenges and it is a great place for beginning riders. Because of the heavy usage, you will find you are stopping a lot to let others pass you on the trails.
