One of the best campgrounds in the state is the Flathead National Forest Campground, which contains over 1,700 miles worth of ATV trails and is home to some excellent camping opportunities as well as fishing, hiking, white-water rafting and swimming. While ridings on the campgrounds remember to respect the land and any animals you may cross along the way. There are usually not many animals on the trails, but if you do encounter one, do not harm it in any way. People who are found doing so will face serious repercussions.
