If you're looking to get out just for a day with your friends or favorite group of riding buddies then check out some of the short rides in on the trails in Georgia.
Make a stop by the Windy Gap Cycle Trail in Chatsworth. This trail system is only 5 miles long but it is very steep. This is a very technical ride and should only be attempted by the most experienced of riders.
Woodstock Trails in Woodstock is a great place to get away from the crowds at Blankets Creek. These are very easy trails to ride and they are wide and flat. The ATV trails are not marked and this is a great place for beginners to learn the basics of trailriding.
Yellow River Park in Stone Mountain is no longer an open to ATV riders but is still used by bikers. There are 10 miles of one-way trails with many loops. The trails are extremely well maintained and equally as well marked making this an easy trail system to stay on. You do have the potential to run into quite a number of horseback riders, remember to ride friendly so you don't run the risk of spooking a horse and injuring a rider or yourself.
