Looking for a fun ATV or motorcycle ride in the state of Georgia? There are a number of trails that are a little off the beaten path but will give you a great day of riding run with your family or favorite group of riding buddies.
Rock Creek US Forest ATV Trail is a multi-use trail system for everyone from motorcyclists, to hikers to bikers and of course, ATV riders. This trail system is just a little over 5 miles in length and is a steady climb up the crest of Tatum Lead. Many sections of this trail system are very steep and rocky. Do not attempt this trail system if this type of terrain is unfamiliar to you.
Another fun destination is the Selma Erwin Nature Trail in Milledgeville where you can ride on 4 miles of narrow, one-way trails. These are very technically challenging trails and you will find you need a lot of handling skills to master this trail system. If you are an experienced rider, you will enjoy riding this trail system. If you're a newer rider with not a lot of experience handling obstacles, it would be best if you stayed around the trailhead and practiced your maneuvering skills.
Silver Comet Trail in Powder Springs is a fun place to spend a day. It has over 40 miles of paved roads. There are well-maintained trails as well and this is a great place for beginners to learn the basics of handling their ATVs or motorcycles. If you're looking for a place the whole family can enjoy, make a stop at the nearby Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna. There are over 30 miles of trails located here with plans to build a trail system that reaches Birmingham, Alabama.
