Georgia has great weather nearly year-round for riding your ATV or motorcycle. Here are some fend trails located around the state, most of which are intermediate level writing skill, that you can check out if you happen to be in the area. If you're going to be in the vicinity of Thamston, check out Camp Thunder Trail. This trail system is a loop trail that is just over 8 miles long. It starts off in a dried up riverbed that is covered in loose pebbles. These trails are definitely not for beginners.
If you're looking for a very technical ride, check out Chain Buster Hill in Oxford. This area is rated as extremely difficult. Only the most experienced of riders should take on Chain Buster Hill. One section of the trail has a lot of tree roots to overcome but not a lot of rocks. Since these are trail systems of a more technical nature to ride, make sure to do a pre-ride inspection before you get out on the trail. Just check over the things that could go wrong such as tires, brakes, and chain. Make sure that you have gas and oil. Plan your ride on a map and always tell someone where you're going to be. If something does go awry and you get stranded in a place where you can't get a cell phone signal, you'll be really glad that someone knew where you were. Prepare a little and you'll have a great ATV or motorcycle ride everytime.
