If you have had your ATV or motorcycle in storage all winter and you're looking for some new trails to conquer, check out some of these short riding areas in Georgia. Most of them are very short, one day or less than a day runs to make on your ATV or motorcycle and very few will allow camping in the areas so be prepared to pack up your ride and find a place to stay for the night if you are planning on making a long weekend out of riding the area.
White Twister in Clayton is just 4 miles of narrow, one-way trails. Once you are on the trail, you will see why it is named the White Twister. This is a very technical, winding trail system that is not for the beginning rider.
Windridge ATV Park Trail is just over 5-miles long and is a very scenic ride. The trails are very narrow and recently 2 more miles were adding making it a total of 7 miles of trail system to roll through on your ATV or motorcycle. This is a very technical ride for the experienced ATVer or motorcyclist only. This riding area is open from dawn until dusk on weekends only. There is a $3 fee per rider that goes for upkeep of the trails. If you have been riding your ATV or motorcycle for a while and you have mastered the skills of trail riding and you're ready for a bigger and more technical challenge, this is the place to bring your machine for a great day of challenging riding.
