If you're recently acquired one of the new Jetmoto ATVs, make it a point to haul your ATV with you so you can check out Power Line Motorized ATV Trail located in the Pike National Forest.
This ATV trail is a good alternative if you're looking for something a little different to ride your new Jetmoto on. This trail connects with other trails in the area. The rating is intermediate to expert, so if you're new to riding, this probably isn't the best set of trails to learn to handle your ATV upon, you might find you're in over your head when the trail difficulty is at the "expert" level.
If you're new to ATVing or you have only been riding a short period of time, make sure you know how to handle your ATV. Riding with experienced ATVers is a great way to pick up tips and tricks for maneuvering your ATV. Additionally, taking a safety course is a highly recommended way to learn to ride. Even if you already know how to ride an ATV, a safety course can still teach you a thing or two.
The Pike Forest Ranger's office also recommends to bring the most current map of the trails with you and a GPS will also come in very handy. There is limited cell phone reception in this area so be sure you leave a copy of your riding location with someone back home in case you get stranded, when you're not at home at the designated time, people will know they need to look for you and also exactly where they need to look. For the remote reason of getting stranded on your ATV, always pack along a water bottle and a general first aid kit.
Your new Jetmoto ATV will give you a great ride, just follow the basic safety rules of ATVing and you'll have a good, safe time!
