If you live in Arkansas, make this a destination for your next ride. This ATV trail has various loops that carry ratings from easy to difficult. The easy trails are flat and winding, the more difficult trails features steep cliffs and riding beside deep ravines.
It's a good sized trail measuring in at 26 miles long and it does have several different loops that allow for half or full days of ATV riding. If a full day is planned, take relief knowing there is plenty of shade for those hot days. The trail runs through mixed forest ground.
The scenic beauty of this area makes it a stand out among riding spots. There are several spots that everyone would enjoy. There are crystal clear streams flowing at the bottom of the deep ravines. ATV riders can also view the Ouachita Mountains and rocky glades leading up to them. Perhaps the most interesting and unique spot to stop is by an abandoned silver mine. Stop in front of and do not enter. Mines have pockets of toxic gases that you cannot see nor smell, the outside of the mine is nice and shady.
