Florida's Osceola National Forest has nearly two hundred thousand acres of original Florida lands that are waiting to be explored on your ATV.
However, there are wetlands located within the Osceola National Forest and if you go off-trail and explore these areas on your ATV you will get a hefty fine and in some cases the fine can rival the cost of your ATV!
The forest rangers will also fine you if you ride these areas and you fail to get a riding permit or you are caught riding your ATV on these trails without a helmet. You may not ride your ATV off trail in any wilderness areas or the Florida National Scenic Hiking Trail. If you are going to be in a campgrounds, picnic sites, and other developed areas, your ATV needs to be on a trailer or carried by other means of transportation when entering or leaving the area.
If your ATV is properly licensed, you can ride on any of the designated trails in this forest. The ATV trails are marked clearly by red-posted signs. The trails in this area rated easy to moderate and offer very few challenges to even the beginner ATV rider. If you're looking for a natural ride that is easy and fun, the Osceola National Forest is the ride you're looking for!
