If you're going to be in the vicinity of Southern Utah in the near future, take your ATV to the South Utah AraPeen ATV Trail System that is located in the Manti-La Sal National Forest.
This is a large sized ATV trail system that has over 350 miles of ATV and OHV routes and the jewel of the ride is the South Skyline Drive which is rough and ready ride that goes for 58 miles and is not for inexperienced ATVers. Most of the terrain is an uphill climb and will challenge your handling skills. If you don't have experience maneuvering your ATV on sharp inclines, stick to the Arapeen Trail System for an easier ride.
There are several routes on the South Utah AraPeen ATV Trail System that are passable only by ATVs, along with some other sections where ATVs share the usage of the forest roads. Be aware you will be sharing these trails with hikers, mountain bikers, 4x4s and horses.
Your ATV does not have to be registered with the State of Utah, however you must have a spark arrestor and noise muffler installed on your ATV prior to riding on the ATV trails.
You may ride your ATV on the designated trails only. Bring your camera to get some shots for your photo album of this beautiful, scenic ATV riding area.
