Irish and Taylor Campground Area is an awesome ATV ride. There is a campground that allows you to stay for 2 weeks and you may need all that time to explore this area on your ATV. There is no fee for camping and that's always the right price!
The campground offers ATV trails right into Three Sisters Wilderness and it is rough terrain. As with many Oregon ATV trails it is alternately very rocky and steep and then flat with loose soil. These are not ATV trails for the inexperienced ATV rider.
These ATV trails are very narrow and are purposely maintained that way to retain the natural look of the trails. You will need to keep your ATV to the right and ride only in a single file. In this dense foliage, it is an excellent idea to have your GPS with you. A good ATV mount is a must for your GPS.
The National Forest Service manages these lands and therefore no trailblazing is allowed. But don't worry, this is such a large area to ride your ATV in, you'll find tons of trails to explore.
These trails are open June through October, be sure and call ahead and make sure no part of the trails are closed due to fire and if you're up for it, you and your ATV are in for one fun ride.
