Noodle Motorized Trail is a fun name for a fun 4-wheeler trail. This trail is located in the Front Range Area of Pike National Forest and is a multi-use trail allowing 4-wheelers, motorcyclists, mountain bikers, snowmobile lovers and hikers. The 4-wheeler riding season is from winter though the spring and difficulty rating on this 12-mile long 4-wheeler trail is intermediate as the trail itself is easy to navigate but the elevation climbs 2,200 feet during your 4-wheeler ride.
Since this 4-wheeler trail is managed by the Pike National Forest, the standard regulations apply such as have your 4-wheeler permit clearly and prominently displayed and you must have your spark arrestor and muffler in place prior to your 4-wheeler ride. Please follow the standards put forth by Treadlightly, meaning if you bring it in with you, bring it out when you leave on your 4-wheeler. The light difficulty rating of this 4-wheeler trail makes it a really fun ride for experienced 4-wheeler riders and it is a fantastic place for newer ATV riders to get familiarity for handling their vehicles. You will encounter flatland scenery, intermediate difficulty crossings, and long winding trails when you ride your 4-wheeler on Noodle Motorized Trail. |
Another reason this is a great trail for newer 4-wheeler riders to hone their skills upon, is the likelihood of encountering snow on the paths in the early part of the riding season is a great way to learn to handle your 4-wheeler in less than desirable riding conditions such as ice and snow but, make sure you have an experienced 4-wheeler rider with you to give you the tips you need to make your ride a safe one!
