The Boise National Forest has several well known 4-wheeler trails for your enjoyment, Bull Creek Trail is a multi-purpose trail with a 35 foot long bridge that makes it good for all experience levels of Idaho 4-wheeler riders. Danskin Trails offer a huge network of clearly marked 4-wheeler and motorcycle trails that are easy to medium in difficulty range, but can be very slick when they are wet. East Mountain Way Trail is a 32-mile long multi-purpose trail used by mountain bikers and 4-wheeler enthusiasts with views of Round Valley and Long Valley. Make sure to be aware almost all of these trails will be shared with motorcycle riders and use your utmost care and caution when using these 4-wheeler trails.
The St. Anthony Sand Dunes have over 10,000 acres of clear, white quartz sand. The dunes have a high amount of 4-wheeler traffic. The varying heights of the dunes and the shifting sands make this an interesting ride for both the beginning 4-wheeler rider to the expert 4-wheeler tourist.
Hells Canyon National Recreation Area located around Idaho's Seven Devils Mountains is an Idaho 4-wheeler attraction for the more experienced rider, but it's a thrilling experience! Another unprecedented offering in Idaho for 4-wheelers is the Sawtooth National Forest. This huge oasis for 4-wheelers has more than 2.1 million acres of public land, most in south central Idaho with some in the northern Utah area.
A must see when exploring this huge area of forest is Third Fork-Heart Attack Loop Trail in the Twin Falls Region located in South Central Idaho. This is a moderate to strenuous 13.7-mile loop, all single-track, through aspen groves used by mountain bikers, horseback riders, motorcyclists and hikers. Be very aware of the other types of activity on these busy trails and you are guaranteed an unforgettable time riding on Idaho's 4-wheeler trails.
