Have you ever thought of taking some extra training for sharpening your 4-wheeler skills. When you are looking to take some 4-wheeler training classes, you will find all training classes are not created equal. A good 4-wheeler training class will require 4-wheeler safety equipment be worn at all times and this includes goggles and an approved helmet.
They should cover safe 4-wheeler riding methods, route planning, and preventative 4-wheeler maintenance. If you learn to do a pre-ride 4-wheeler inspection, you will learn to catch some little problems before they turn into big problems and possible ruin your ride. You will learn safe handling of your 4-wheeler, braking techniques and how to better watch out for the other guy.
Don't be afraid to ask the instructors about their 4-wheeler experience and qualifications for training others to ride 4-wheelers in a safe manner. Any hedging by the person will give you a clue this may not be the 4-wheeler training class for you.
Last thing, make sure that the 4-wheeler training course you are taking meets or exceeds the guidelines set by Lantra, HSE. and meets the required standard of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER).
