The 640,000-acre Cherokee National Forest is a great example of this. The main 4-wheeler trail in this area is located in the scenic Hiwassee River Gorge. Land Between the Lakes National Forest offers up their OHV area called Turkey Bay. There are over 100 miles of OHV trails that cover a variety of terrains. Primitive camping is available and encouraged as it's hard to cover all this great 4-wheeler riding in just one day. There is something for every skill level of 4-wheeler rider. Flat meadows, rolling hills, and rocky embankments await your next 4-wheeler ride. The ridge tops and valleys are beautiful and the trails themselves are very well

As with all National Forest OHV areas, please make sure to have your permit prominently displayed, always wear your DOT approved helmet when riding your vehicle, and never ride alone. There are current maps available in the Ranger's stations located throughout the forest.
