Any adventurer who is in need of beautiful places to explore and have incredible times with their brand new Jetmoto 4-wheeler and go camping may not have as far to look as they would think. All that they really have to do is take a trip to New Mexico, as the state happens to be full of great 4-wheeler trails and campgrounds that are extremely diverse. The Lincoln National Forest offers the best of both worlds, as it is open to both camping and 4-wheeler riding, but be careful not to litter or harm the environment in any way, because the forest has began to enforce some very serious penalties to those who violate the land in any way.
Some other excellent places to ride a 4-wheeler in New Mexico include the Carson National Forest, which also allows camping, and the Haysack Mountain Recreation Area and the Mescalero Sands North Dunes OHV Area, which offer some fabulous sand dunes for your riding pleasure. Sometimes national forests tend to get a bit crowded, so if you would prefer to camp out at one of the state's many campgrounds, you could do that as well.
Some of New Mexico's best campgrounds include: Albuquerque Central KOA, Alto Hombre Gordito Hideout, Caballo Lake RV Park, Elephant Butte Lake State Park, Enchanted View RV Park, Los Campos De Santa Fe RV Resort, the Rio Chama RV Park and more. There are plenty of wonderful amenities to be had at these campsites and a good night of sleep is always welcome after you have had a long, adventurous day of 4-wheeling.
