You will not have to worry about finding all sorts of great 4-wheeler riding opportunities when you are in California. Such rides can be made even better if you have a set of Swamp Fox 4-Wheeler Tires. These tires will really dig into the dirt and give you excellent traction. This area has trails that are not too difficult, however it is located in a fairly remote location so you won't encounter a big deal of traffic.
Getting to the Rasor OHV riding area is not difficult. The riding area is between Interstate 15 and the Mojave National Preserve that is located roughly 25 miles southwest of Baker, California. The access roads are located on Basin Road and Rasor Road east of the I-15. Both of these roads are graded dirt roads. This is a very isolated riding locale and you must pack along everything you will need for your 4-wheeler ride. This includes extra water, gasoline, first aid kit, personal toiletries and if you intend to spend the night in this area, primitive camping is allowed. There are no trash receptacles so be prepared to pack out all your refuse.
Rasor OHV is a very fun 4-wheeler area to ride. It has rocky slopes and the elevations in some areas can be steep but not too difficult to climb. On the downhill side of the trail, you will encounter large amounts of vegetation with rocky terrain surrounding the areas. There are also deep slopes on the downhill run that are a blast to go through when using your Swamp Fox 4-wheeler tires as they really grip the ground for a sturdy ride. The ride ends at a sandy dune area where you can enjoy rolling through the loose sand for a great riding experience.
