It is a great place to ride your 4-wheeler, as gorgeous pine and oak trees surround the area. It has rough terrain and some steep slopes and winding turns in the trail that will make following this 4-wheeler ride a blast. This trail is nearly 23 miles in length; so make sure you and your 4-wheeler are prepared. Do a pre-ride inspection and do a complete check up, from the oil to tightening any loose bolts. The tires on an 4-wheeler get a lot of abuse; so check the air pressure and the tread.
You are likely to encounter snow in the early and late parts of the 4-wheeler riding season in the northern section of the Ripley Trails. If you haven't maneuvered your 4-wheeler in snowy conditions before, make sure an experienced 4-wheeler is along to show you the ropes, it isn't hard but it does take care.
