Are you a 4-wheeler rider looking for a trail that is fun but won't be too easy? You should give Scotty's Motorized trail a try. Load up the 4-wheeler, and from Sedalia you will travel southwest on Highway 67. Turn left onto Rampart Range Road, another excellent 4-wheeler trail and follow this to FDR 507. Then turn left onto Road 507 and keep going until you reach the beginning of Scotty's Trail #681, which is on the right.
Scotty's 4-wheeler trail #681 is a 6.8 mile stretch of road that serves as a connecting route from the 4-wheeler trails in the north to the southern 4-wheeler trails in the system. Pike National Forest service manages this area and gives this 4-wheeler trail an intermediate to expert level rating. You'll need to follow the park's rules and have a 4-wheeler rider's permit in order to ride. Be sure you keep it prominently displayed. Mufflers and spark arrestors are also mandatory.
