Looking for a rough ride in Minnesota? The Nemadji State Forest OHV Trail is a great place to take your 4-wheeler for a thrilling run. It has all that an 4-wheeler rider is looking for, steepness, rolling terrain, even swamp areas to take your 4-wheeler through. The Nemadji State Forest is located in Pine County. If coming from Nickerson, take Highway 23 northeast 1/2 mile, then turn right for 1.5 miles to Net Lake Forest Road turn right, or go south about 2 miles. This is a very long trail, about 100 miles, so camping out may be in order. Being a State Forest, it is open all year, but due to weather conditions, sometimes it may be closed to OHM's.
Because this is a State Forest, the rules are a bit more strict for riding your 4-wheeler in these areas. Don't go off the marked trails and make your own. Never go trailblazing and take your 4-wheeler off the trails because it will destroy the habitat.
