Bring your 4-wheeler to the Marineau Trails for the time of your life. This is a great place to enjoy the sport of 4-wheeler riding and getting back to nature. The 4-wheeler trails of Marineau, is in Minnesota's great Paul Bunyan State Forest in Hubbard County. If coming from Walker, it will be 10 miles west on Highway 34 to Highway 64, then go north for about 5 miles to a trail marker that has loop 1 going west or loop 2 that is going east. This 4-wheeler trail is about 67 miles in length and is open from May 1 to November 1, depending on the weather conditions.
These trails are used by others enjoying their sport as well, so caution must be enforced at all times. Never ride side by side or double. Keep a watch as you ride the trails because there may be obstacles in the trail as this is a heavily forested area. If you are riding in the early morning or evening, be on the look out for local wildlife residents that might be crossing your path. Make sure you do a complete systems check on your 4-wheeler before heading out. You want your vehicle running in tip top condition. It takes a mighty big beating out there. The tires on your 4-wheeler are very important too. Check the tread and the air pressure as well.
This is a great 4-wheeler trail from the novice to the most experienced of 4-wheeler riders. There are two loops, when combined makes it a great trail for 4-wheelers. The terrain is very rough and hilly, with lots of quick turns and some steep climbs to test your maneuvering skills.
