Chris Bithell – The Rising Star in the Quad Racing Circuit

When Chris Bithelll first started out in ATV racing, the road ahead seemed so uncertain; and he had trouble finding people who believed he achieve anything in the ATV racing arena to sponsor him. He was this 15-year-old nothing, hence sponsors did not know where he was headed. But this is how geniuses start their journey. He started his journey with a discount-based sponsorship deal with Tom Clark Motorsports and with that, he trudged forward determined.

With Tom Clark behind him, Chris Bithell went on to prove that he was worthy of their support. Result….that was what the sponsors wanted and result was what he delivered. So, it’s no surprise at all that with the many impressive finishes he showed thus far, Tom Clark says that they will continue to sponsor him together. But other sponsorship deals have been pouring in, of course. And we’re talking about big names like Custom Axis, Looney Tuned Exhaust, Super Grip Tires, and the likes. Modern Tires’ manager says that you just can’t get enough good out of Bithell. For these sponsors, they will only invest their time, money and products on top ATV racers in the country…to be approached and sponsored by such brands proves that Chris Bithell rocks and impressed these guys!

Tom Clark said that they sponsored Chris Bithell because he was like a Tiger Woods to them. He was like a talent waiting to be unleashed…a power so intense waiting to be released. And out of the 6 ATV racers that Custom Axis sponsors, Chris Bithell is one of them, they say that Chris is still young and in good shape….and he’s fast…that is why he is the perfect candidate.

Bithell is lucky in that he’s got the full support from his parents when he decided to take up quad racing as a career. Admittedly, it’s a scary choice and it is not something, as a mother, you’d want your teenage son to tell you…that he wants to put his life on the line racing ATVs! Chris Bithell is the 19-year-old son of James and Cheryl Bithell and is currently the No. 3 in the country as far as the Grand National Cross Country Racing Series is concerned.

Unlike other boys his age, instead of lounging around, going for movies or playing Nintendo games, Chris Bithell is so committed to his career that he practices almost all the time during his free time. He rides ATVs and dirt bikes with his friends and if time permits, he and his gang would head out towards the local tracks for a little racing between friends. As far as his career path is concerned, he knows what he wants….racing. Apart from the money that ATV racing brings in, Chris Bithell loves being his own boss, earning money doing what he is good at and enjoys doing.

The love and support shown by his mother is another propelling force for this young racer. Cheryl Bithell remains undeterred in lending her support in whatever way she can by attending all of his nail-biting races to becoming a pit crew! She truly believes that he has found his alcove in life. This is what he was born to do. Chris is also a good role model to his younger brother, Jamie who has also begun to take up quad racing as a sport. So, as it turns out, all those times she drove him to and from races and practices was worth it after all. Cheryl Bithell was given the Rough and Ready Pit Crew Award during one racing banquet which shows how supportive this mother is of her son.

But who could blame her? If you had a son like Chris Bithell who has his head screwed on the right way, you’d be just as supportive too. Let’s hope Bithell achieves much more in the future and his foray into ATV racing is a bright and successful one.
