Share you ATVing life with others

Get creative with the videos you have in your PC hard drive. I don’t know about you but every time we head out somewhere to ride our ATVs, I tend to record so many videos that it’s easy to see why I have a whole library of me and the kids riding ATVs all over the world. We’ve literally taken our ATVs backpacking with us all over the place and I can tell you one thing that’s for sure, the family is one tight unit because we share the same passion. Anyway, with all those stored by videos of us riding, there would come a time when you’d start wondering where to put all of them and what to do with them.

I, of course, uploaded some short ATV videos up into www.youtube.com and shared them with my friends, family and other ATV enthusiasts. But there are tons more. and besides, no one would be interested in watching a 5-year-old wobble around a mud puddle and then crashing into a boulder. Would you?

Hence, one fine day, I just pulled out a software and started putting together a music video! And boy, it was not only fun but the whole family orchestra-ed the whole music video. From the time when we first took up ATVing to the time my 21-year-old started doing HUGE jumps, all of them were butchered apart and placed nicely with special effects into the music video.

Finally, when it was all done, we shared the music video with our friends and family in www.youtube.com , www.multiply.com , www.racewayextremetube.com and they all applauded us for our creative ATV music video. Getting the applause was, of course, well-deserved and a little ego-boosting but the really fun part was putting the ATV video together. Watching, night after night, all the previous videos we have ever recorded brought back a lot of memories and evoked a lot of laughter. All of us, just sitting there with chocolate chip cookies, laughing over all the stupid things we done and dumb things we’ve said over the years of ATVing. The family really grew closer through the process.

Putting the ATV music video together was no walk in the park, though, let me tell you this. Everything was a mess in the beginning and it took us quite a lot of time to recall all the incidents and put them together nicely in chronological order. My son, Kidd, picked the song to use in our family ATV video which is Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life”. Yeah, trust a hormone-infested 21 year old to come up with a very in-your-face-out-of-my-way kind of song. But yeah, Bon Jovi is good. No complaints there.

So, if you, like me, go cam-crazy every time you take to the tracks, do this! It’s fun, it’s fulfilling and it’ll get those creative juices flowing. Why let all those videos go to waste since we sacrificed lots of riding time to stop and take those videos. Like Mr. Jovi (not even sure if that’s his real name but…) said, “It’s your life”, and there’s more than a thousand reasons to share your videos with others through fabulous video sites like www.racewayextremetube.com too.
